Job Title: Bus Monitor (Part-Time)
Location: Uwharrie Charter Academy
Position Type: Part-Time (4 hours per day)
Compensation: $40.00 per day

Position Overview:
Uwharrie Charter Academy is seeking a reliable and responsible Bus Monitor to assist in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during daily transportation. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a positive and orderly environment on school buses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students while boarding, riding, and exiting the bus
• Ensure student safety at all times
• Assist the bus driver with maintaining appropriate student behavior
• Help enforce school transportation rules and procedures
• Provide support in emergency situations as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively with students of all ages
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required

Schedule:

• Approximately 4 hours per day  (afternoon routes only)
